In 2011, The Borough of Sewickley participated in the Energy Conservation Measure (ECM) Retrofit Phase which was part of Allegheny County's Energy Program for Municipalities. The Borough receives 75% funding for lighting and a programmable thermostat retrofit at the Municipal Building. The total cost was $47,728.00, and the Borough paid $7,726.50.
