Cultural Landscape Survey: Public Outreach Meeting

Cultural Landscape Survey - QR Code

This fall, the Borough of Sewickley is kicking off a historic preservation initiative unlike any other. It starts with a cultural landscape survey, to collect data on the entire built environment including buildings, structures, objects, landscapes, and artifacts that have significant historical, architectural, or social/cultural value to the Borough community.  Big Pine Consultants LLC was hired by the Borough to design the survey, conduct research, perform field work and report on the results of the survey.

Everyone is invited to take the survey and attend the public meeting.  A cool thing about this survey is that kids (we recommend Middle/Highschoolers) are welcome to participate and share their thoughts and opinions about the places they love in the Borough! (The meeting is educational, too 😊)

The hope is for people to share places and sites that are important to them, either individually or collectively.  Big Pine Consultants, LLC would like to have as many responses as possible by the first Public Outreach Meeting on October 24, 2023, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sewickley Public Library.
