Want to know what is going on in your neighborhood?  The Sewickley Police Department Public Safety Alert System is an interactive way to keep the community connected and informed through text messages.  Signing up for alerts is a simple way to do just that!  Whether it's vehicle break-ins, endangered missing persons, or other criminal activity; you'll know about it here first!  We are a community-oriented police agency that depends on the citizens it serves to help keep our community safe.  By giving you the inside knowledge of what's going on and where, we can work as a team to solve these issues.

DRUG COLLECTION UNIT

A Drug Collection Unit is located on the first floor of the Borough Building.  The building is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am until 5 pm.

The following types of medications are acceptable:

  • Prescription Drugs and Patches
  • Prescription Medications 
  • Prescription Ointments
  • Over-the-counter Medications
  • Vitamins
  • Samples
  • Medications for Pets

The following are NOT accepted:

  • Hydrogen Peroxide
  • Inhalers
  • Ointments, lotions and liquids
  • Needles (sharps)
  • Thermometers
  • Medications from Businesses or Clinics
